Meet Dr. Yi

Dr. Xuan Yi is a 6th generation Licensed Acupuncturist and a Doctor of Chiropractic. Born in China, he was immersed in the lifestyle of Chinese medicine and holistic living from an early age. He received his bachelors in Psychology from Case Western Reserve University in Ohio before moving to Los Angeles, where he completed his dual degrees in Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and Doctor of Chiropractic at Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2015. He then went on to become national board-certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine practitioner by the NCCAOM. Having also completed training at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine and Wuhan People’s Hospital, he has experience treating patients with both an eastern and western approach.

Dr. Yi is especially passionate about integrative health, which focuses not just on symptoms but on the whole person including the mind, body, and spirit. He is dedicated to maximizing care through all aspects of life including diet, exercise, lifestyle modifications, and other traditional therapies to achieve lasting health improvements and prevent illness. This comprehensive perspective fosters personalized treatment plans that support long-term well-being and enhance the natural healing process. With a wide range of expertise treating neuropathy, infertility, pain and injuries, allergy, alpha-gal, and more, Dr. Yi is prepared to provide top quality care delivered with compassion and dedication.

Outside of work, Dr. Yi balances his professional responsibilities with a passion for various hobbies that enrich his personal life. He enjoys travelling, photography, piano, playing soccer, basketball, and fitness activities to maintain both physical and mental well-being. Equally important to him is spending quality time with his loving wife and his two sons, who provide a strong foundation of support and joy outside of his work commitments.
